In 1969 Roger married Janice Bradley and together with his first son Berrand Haydn the family relocated to Braunton, North Devon. In 1972 his second son Tamsyn Lewis was born. Roger worked as a personnel officer for 18 months or so for a small firm (can't remember the name) which he absolutely loathed. When he left he joined the Engineering Industry Training Board to work as a Training Officer and he retired from this position when he was 60 in 2002. Whilst with the EITB he relocated the family to Monmouth for 18 months in 1978 and then finally set up a perminant base in Shrewsbury in 1980. In 1983 Roger & Janice divorced.
